On Saturday November 13th, postdocs from both LBL and UCB enjoyed a nice hike at Quarry Lakes. They explored the Quarry Lakes Regional Recreation Area, which were named after the quarries established in the mid-19th century. All had an amazing time. On Saturday, August 14th, 26 postdocs enjoyed a wonderful hike up to Grizzly Peak Boulevard. They follow the Berkeley Fire Trail, and enjoyed a picnic-style lunch at one of the outposts at the top. We are looking forward to the next hikes.
