The Berkeley Lab Postdoc Association is an organization run by and for about 1000 postdocs and early career scientists working at the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. We organize many activities to strengthen our ties to the Lab, to each other and to the (Berkeley) Bay Area. Our goal is to facilitate social interactions, scientific exchanges, seminars and general orientation.

Cultural Lunch

On Friday February 11th, we celebrated the Lunar New Year with postdocs Huanping Huang, Miao Zhang, Geon Seok Lee, Qingyun Dan and Yuzhong Liu. Hiking: Quarry Lakes

On Saturday November 13th, postdocs from both LBL and UCB enjoyed a nice hike at Quarry Lakes. They explored the Quarry Lakes Regional Recreation Area, which were named after the quarries established in the mid-19th century. All had an amazing time.
