The Berkeley Lab Postdoc Association is an organization run by and for about 1000 postdocs and early career scientists working at the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. We organize many activities to strengthen our ties to the Lab, to each other and to the (Berkeley) Bay Area. Our goal is to facilitate social interactions, scientific exchanges, seminars and general orientation.

Hiking: Mission Peak Trail

Hiking: Mission Peak Trail

On July 17th, 18 brave postdocs decided to face the Mission Peak trail. Considered a somewhat difficult hike with an elevation gain of almost 2520 ft / 768 m, the trail proved to offer some challenges. However, the postdocs proved that working together and helping each other, they could all reach the peak. It was challenging, however, all enjoyed the nice view from above and most important all enjoyed the company of their fellow peers.
