The Berkeley Lab Postdoc Association is an organization run by and for about 1000 postdocs and early career scientists working at the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. We organize many activities to strengthen our ties to the Lab, to each other and to the (Berkeley) Bay Area. Our goal is to facilitate social interactions, scientific exchanges, seminars and general orientation.

Hike to Windy Hill Open Space Preserve

A group of 21 postdocs went to the Windy Hill Open Space Preserve on Saturday, Nov. 16th, 2019 to embark on the Windy Hill Loop. They hiked along the Spring Ridge Trail – Hamms Gulch Trail – Lost Trail – Anniversary Trail – Spring Ridge Trail for a total of about 7.5 miles with an elevation gain of 1600 ft. Weather was perfect, which gave a fantastic view.
