On March 1, 2025, our hiking group went to the Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park. We enjoyed the spring weather in nature and explored remnants of lime-processing industry that helped rebuilt San Francisco after the 1906 earthquake.
The BLPA organized another hiking trip on February 15, 2025. This time we went to the Mission Peak from Ohlone College near Fremont. We enjoyed a nice winter day with beautiful views of South Bay, Mount Diablo Range, local flora and fauna including many cows and a coyote.
