After fourteenth months long break, over thirty postdocs gathered in Berkeley for the Return of the Hikes Vol.1 at Strawberry Canyon Fire Trail as our first in person event since the pandemic started. It was fantastic to meet fellow postdocs in person finally after a long social distancing! We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful day and breathtaking views of the Bay together. We are looking forward the Return of the Hikes Vol.2 at Point Reyes – Tomales Point Trail next week.
The Berkeley Lab Postdoc Association is an organization run by and for about 1000 postdocs and early career scientists working at the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. We organize many activities to strengthen our ties to the Lab, to each other and to the (Berkeley) Bay Area. Our goal is to facilitate social interactions, scientific exchanges, seminars and general orientation.
