The Berkeley Lab Postdoc Association is an organization run by and for about 1000 postdocs and early career scientists working at the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. We organize many activities to strengthen our ties to the Lab, to each other and to the (Berkeley) Bay Area. Our goal is to facilitate social interactions, scientific exchanges, seminars and general orientation.

Hiking in Angel Island State Park

A group of 24 postdocs went to Angel Island State Park on Saturday September 7th, 2019. Driving to Tiburon, they took a ferry to reach Angel Island. Hiking up to the summit of the Livermore mountain, they got some beautiful views of San Francisco, the Bay and Golden Gate Bridge. They also got to visit the Angel Island Immigration Station museum.
