To uplift our everyday life during the Shelter-In-Place, our Social Committee organizes a series of bake-together online meetings. Led by a pastry wizard, Louise Frenck, we prepared a chocolate cake, lemon cake, and apple crumble so far. We meet weekly on Sundays at 3 PM.
Our weekly movie nights make the movie watching during Shelter-in-Place a bit more social. Every week we vote for the movie we watch, and during the Netflix Party on Fridays with Berkeley Lab postdocs and friends, we comment real-time on the action on our screens.
