The Berkeley Lab Postdoc Association is an organization run by and for about 1000 postdocs and early career scientists working at the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. We organize many activities to strengthen our ties to the Lab, to each other and to the (Berkeley) Bay Area. Our goal is to facilitate social interactions, scientific exchanges, seminars and general orientation.

BLPA GOAT

After working together as a community and pooling our Bucketlist Points, the BLPA has officially been given the opportunity to name a Berkeley Lab Goat! The postdoc community suggested a lot of great names, and the vote was among the best 10. Everybody had the chance to vote. The result was a close race between two names, that were combined into Sir Goaty McGoattenborough! Welcome to our BLPA Goat!
