When/Where: September 9th, 8 AM/Tomales Point Trail,
BLPA is excited to invite you to an exploration of the northern end of Point Reyes National Seashore at the Tomales Point Trail. This hike is out-and-back with just under 10 miles (16 km) round trip and with a total elevation gain ~1200 ft (350 m). The hike goes to the very tip of the peninsula, with scenic cliffs, and Tule elk. The hike goes through a Tule elk reserve created to boost the endangered population. The reserve has been quite successful, so it is very likely that you will see several elk! With luck and good weather, we might also be able to spot some whales.
