The Berkeley Lab Postdoc Association is an organization run by and for about 1000 postdocs and early career scientists working at the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. We organize many activities to strengthen our ties to the Lab, to each other and to the (Berkeley) Bay Area. Our goal is to facilitate social interactions, scientific exchanges, seminars and general orientation.

Join BLPA on Saturday, February 29th for a trip to Oakland Ice Center

Do not trust the blue sky and the sunshine, snow is falling in the Sierra, water is freezing in the lakes. It’s wintertime! Here in the Bay Area, a few marketplace skating rings have opened to bring the joy of ice skating to everyone. Now, as BLPA, we are going to conquer this slippery solid H2O, trying to go as fast as possible – or simply trying to stay on our skates. Come with us experience the joy of ice skating at the Oakland Ice Center on Saturday, February 29^th.
