The Berkeley Lab Postdoc Association is an organization run by and for about 1000 postdocs and early career scientists working at the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. We organize many activities to strengthen our ties to the Lab, to each other and to the (Berkeley) Bay Area. Our goal is to facilitate social interactions, scientific exchanges, seminars and general orientation.

Feb 25, 2020 – Pers Hall Addition B54-130B and Pers Hall B54-130

Sign up for the one-on-one career coaching session and resume/CV review utilizing your Strength Finder results.

Awareness of your unique strengths is a critical component to personal empowerment, leadership development and marketing your CV and/or resume. After taking the 30 min self-assessment test (prior to workshop), a career coach will work with you in an individualized session (30 min per session) to help you recognize your unique talents and strengths and begin to use them towards targeting your personal or professional goals and enhancing your CV or resume.

ACS is excited to offer this service free as part of a pilot program (typically the full Strength Finder test costs $50 to administer). The coaching session will be offered the day after ACS’s workshop Strategic Planning of Your Career.

The registration is open only for the 1st-day workshop participants.
