The Berkeley Lab Postdoc Association is an organization run by and for about 1000 postdocs and early career scientists working at the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. We organize many activities to strengthen our ties to the Lab, to each other and to the (Berkeley) Bay Area. Our goal is to facilitate social interactions, scientific exchanges, seminars and general orientation.

Postdoc to Postdoc: Creating Personal Webpage

On Friday, October 4th, Ludovico Bianchi from the Computational Research Division lead a brown bag: yournamehere.com; A Busy Scientist’s Guide to Creating a Personal Webpage. The talk provided an outline of the steps needed to create a personal webpage from a scientist’s perspective, starting from a brief introduction on key concepts of web development aimed to shed light on the jargon, and presenting an overview of tools and solutions for creating webpages, with their pros and cons depending on different use cases.

The slides with all the materials from the talk are available here (to access them use your lbl google account).
