The Berkeley Lab Postdoc Association is an organization run by and for about 1000 postdocs and early career scientists working at the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. We organize many activities to strengthen our ties to the Lab, to each other and to the (Berkeley) Bay Area. Our goal is to facilitate social interactions, scientific exchanges, seminars and general orientation.

Postdoc to Postdoc

On Friday, September 18th at 12 PM, Maria Żurek from the Nuclear Science Division will lead a brown bag about Elevator Pitch for Scientists.

“So, tell me, what do you work on?”

How many times did you hear this question at conferences, postdoc networking events, or family gatherings? Was the answer always as smooth as you wish it could be? Maria Żurek, a postdoc in the Nuclear Science Division, will lead a discussion about best practices for your elevator pitch for specialist and general audiences.
