The Berkeley Lab Postdoc Association is an organization run by and for about 1000 postdocs and early career scientists working at the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. We organize many activities to strengthen our ties to the Lab, to each other and to the (Berkeley) Bay Area. Our goal is to facilitate social interactions, scientific exchanges, seminars and general orientation.

BLPA at National Postdoc Annual Conference

Our BLPA representatives together with the LBNL Postdoc Manager have an amazing opportunity to participate in the National Postdoc Association Annual Conference in Orlando.

The NPA Conference is the largest national conference and networking event dedicated to the postdoctoral community. This year the conference gathered about 500 postdoctoral scholars and administrators. The meeting was an excellent opportunity to enhance professional development and leadership skills via workshops and seminars and network with postdoc leaders from around the country.

Three days of NPA2019 brought many new ideas for our postdoc community. Stay tuned!
